The Cycle of Grace.

In Christianity, The Cycle of Grace begins not with human effort but with God's unmerited favor—grace is given freely through Christ, not earned by deeds. This grace affirms identity in Christ, which leads to sustained spiritual strength, meaningful purpose, and ultimately fruitful actions.

Importantly, a Christian cannot earn grace—it is a gift (Ephesians 2:8-9). However, to live in response to grace, a Christian is called to remain in relationship with God through faith, humility, repentance, and obedience. What disrupts this cycle is self-reliance, pride, or trying to perform for acceptance rather than living from it.
